View Full Version : Hollowing rig for the mini

Worked on my mini hollowing rig some today, just scaled down version of the Jamieson. It has about 11" of travel, should be plenty for hollowing on the mini. Still need to add the coupler with a set screw, make a clamp block and plate to connect to the lathe ways and clean it up a bit. Also need to make a laser setup for it. All made from 1/2" cold rolled steel. This should be fun!:D

Travis looks mighty good and looks like it will be quite functional. Can't wait to see picutures of it completed and in use.

Nice work Travis! You just saved a bunch of money over the Jamieson and it looks just as good. One of these days, I'm going to get my welding lessons.
