Finally got a camera, Nikon P2. So this is some practice shots of two previous pics. Now that I have a hollowmaster I was able to put these back on the lathe and hollow them. Now I need to work on a back drop for the pics.

So far I am very pleased with this camera. I know very little about technical stuff with camera settings though. It seems easy for a guy like me to use and I am getting very good pics. I especially like the wireless feature which lets me send them to the computer with the push of a couple buttons. I was going to buy a 6mp or 7mp but read that this camera is considered an exceptional camera at 5mp and that the price was reduced by $100. Bought it for $199. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the comments. The bowl is cherry and the vase is hard maple.
