Don't know how long this will last, but amazon.com has lowered the price on the Delta hybrid with Bies fence (30" version) 36-717 to $664.30. Take another 10 percent off with the amazon.com coupon and you have a decent saw for a riddiculously low price, less than $600. I used to have the Craftsman version of this and it is a fine saw. I upgraded to a 3HP unisaw, but didn't gain all that much.
