Saw this deal on another site:

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00004S90L/ref=br_lf_hi_/102-3830808-1453739?n=228013&s=hi&v=glance

$98.00 to your door. Thought it was a pretty good deal, not sure if the price can be beat elsewhere with coupons, sales etc. as I didn't check around much. I've had this saw for 6 years and it's a great tool.

I *believe* this deal expires today. EDIT 4/26/06 3:50 PM CDT: Looks like the deal is still good - not sure for how long. LM

If you want to add more tools to the deal, you can use Special Offer:
**April 11, 2006, through April 25, 2006, use promotional code TWNTYFVE2BEN to get $25 off your total purchase of $199 of power tools, pneumatics, or accessories.**

thanks for the post! I think I will pick one up tonight. Yet another spending opportunity  I'd pick up the Bosch router kit as well if I didn't already have them at home, that is a really good price!

I absolutely love my 1587AVSK. I would never have believed that one jigsaw over another could be soooo good. I find myself using it more and more because of the quality of the cuts it produces. I often use mine to rough dimension lumber into more manageable pieces. At this price you will not be disapointed.

I ordered the Bosch router kit and added the Bessey clamp deal to get over $199. The 10% worked but adding the $25 off wouldn't work, so I dropped the clamps and just bought the router for $145.

$98 to your door if you live on the mainland. $118 to my door after using the promotional code. Still a good price though. No such things as free shipping if you live in Hawaii.

Ah yes, but you enjoy certain 'other perks' by living in HI. Visited Hawaii and Maui in 1999 and need to get back there with the wife real soon.

Glad you enjoyed your visit Lincoln. Did you see the tourist version of Hawaii or the local's version? Haha I'm only playing with you. But you know, there really is two different versions. The tourist versions try to rip you off by trying to get you to spend as much money as they can. The local's version lets you see the real Hawaii and still have a good time. As expensive as it is here, you'd be surprised at how many free or inexpensive things you can do without feeling as if you missed out. When in doubt, ask a local for suggestions. If you ever get out to Oahu, give me a shout, I'll treat you and the Mrs. to dinner.
