Making interior doors ?

I'm in the processof making a couple of interior doors. I've bought shaper cutters and have had no problems creating the stiles and rails (1-3/8" thick). However, I startes shaping the panels with an Oggee shapper cutter and the panles don't look right. I planed the baords to 1" thick, which is what the original doors that I'm replacing were (I cut a cross-section from an old door).
When I adjust the cutter to have a 1/4" "tennon", the inside edge of the oggee profile is not there. The profile basically "rounds off" the interior surface instead of creating a lip.

Suggestions?

First thought is that the bit is only designed to cut a panel from 1 3/8 material making the panel flush on both sides. Most of the sets say they are for 1 3/8 material and I assume that is the panel as well.

I haven't made any interior doors so it is a SWAG at best.

Looking forward to an answer from someone in the know too.

I think Joe is on the right track. You need a raised panel cutter for 5/8" stock. This will translate to a 1" double sided panel with 1/4" tongue. For router bits, Freud makes the 99-521 and shaper cutters the UP203.
