I really like the form and you got the thickness just right from what I can see in the picture. How about a few more details? What is the plan of use? Really looks nice.

As close as I can remember the wood the bowl is made of is from a Birch tree I had cut down on the property here where we work. The Bowl is 5 1/4" wide & 2 1/2" tall. I seem to get pretty spalted wood real easy around here by just leaving the log outside either in a stack or in contact with the ground over a winter.
