They have dropped a lot of prices down 30% today. Really incredible.

Almost all the miter saws have fallen in price. The website also shows the price history for the last 3 months. It is a good tool to make an informed decision.

I saw the Makita LS1013F with the light for 333 and change a couple hours ago, and there was a 75.00 amazon rebate and free shipping on top of that if I read it coorectly. It's now gone from the site! If I'd had the bucks it would have been mine. But alas, I'm just a poor woodworker these days who is having to spend time and energy getting the sprinkler system running.....Jim.

edit for proper model number. Going to the actual web site instead of the Amazon price watch page still shows the saw if anyone is interested. It does say limited quantities.

The Makita sounded to good to be true. The saw had to be purchased by March 26 for the $75 rebate. Still not a bad deal at $333.
