With it being spring like weather and some of our flowers are blooming, thought I'd post a few pics to get things started.

Amarilla's and Easter Lilly.

This is literally all I have in the yard. It's just a weed, the kind I used to suck on when I was a kid and it was sour. Then somebody told me that dogs pee onn them and I never liked them after that. They won't die even with round up. I think they need another treatment. We did just put down sod in the front units though. I'm trying to keep the tenants from killing it before it grows in. :D

We had these come up at the beginning of April. Our bleeding hearts are starting to bloom too as well as one of our trees (not sure what it is.)

Got stuff coming up everywhere. Yard, greenhouse, and garden.
But gonna post the evil storm cloud that almost came over the house the first of the week.
Thankfully the wind pushed it east of us.:D

Those are great pics, Dennis. I guess it's cheating, because we have blooming flowers in the yard year-round. Here's some pics from one of a couple lilly clusters that went into bloom this week, and it'll bloom into the fall of the year. The last pic was taken in March, so it might also be cheating. We also have a lemon tree that's drooping with fruit, and an orange tree from which the fruit was harvested back in December and January. Both citrus trees are blooming heavily right now, too.

All we have right now is on the left, but in a month or two it should look like what's on the right.

No pic, BUT, I scored a FREE Rhody. This puppy is almost 6' tall and has a 5' crown on it.
It took all afternoon to get this monster in the ground. Of course the 300 +/- pd sex pebble in middle of the hole turned out to be a bigger problem since I gave every piece of chain and cable to my son, -the day before!

Speaking of Rhody's, we have a bunch of them. This one is always the first to bloom. It's next to the front porch and 10' high.

The Chinese weeping cherry in the yard is in full bloom with the cherry orchard in the background, Ben Lomond peak behind that, and a beautiful blue Utah sky backing it all up.

And some wild pansies that came up in a crack this spring.

I plucked this one while we were doing mulch spreading, it was damaged in the process. The loader arm on the tractor made a nice vase. Besides the yellow goes with the green. Sadly all of the Daffy's have since faded (planted about 250 bulbs so far). We're still waitin' on our lillies.

Our tulips are blooming already.

37653

We`have had tulips in this garden for 32 years and this is by far the earliest that they have bloomed. They are about two weeks early.

While we are enjoying them :) , this is yet another bit of proof that the world is being very badly impacted by global warming. :o :(

Other blossoms are getting ready to pop pretty soon - can't wait, as the large flower beds are superb!

Just had to join in for this tread----one of my favorite places----our front porch. Everything from Rhododendrons to Tulips and the ever colorful Azaleas.
The hanging baskets are loaded with Geranium's---this year they are shades of red.

Well, my crocus' have already come and gone and it's onto my beloved hostas. I simply love hostas. They are hardy as heck, you can't kill them even if you run them over with a bulldozer and over time, they get big enough where you can divide them and triple (or even much more) your plants. They are the ultimate low maintenance plant. I have already divided my plants numerous times. The darned things just keep growing. Below is a picture of a small bed just behind our home where I establish new, smaller plants of different varieties so that they can grow bigger before undergoing their first division cuttings. The other picture is another bed or two behind the house with numerous hostas already established.

This is embarassing. Here I have gobs of blooming flowers but I have been so short on time for the past four weeks, that I can't even take time to show you all the greenhouses or my back yard or side yards, or front yard etc.

Mother's Day is only 4 days away. The next three days are my killers.
