I have acquired some cherry, basswood and a bunch of boxelder. The tool is the Alaska Sawmill. After watching Bill's video I decided I would never be able to cut wood very straight so I decided to get some help.

You are very close, O wise one. It is actually called the Zooka. It will shoot a tennis ball 85mph and a baseball 65mph. I decided to get one after my wife started throwing batting practice to my eldest. She hit him three times in a row and he was getting gun shy! The nice thing about it is that it runs on a battery so I don't have to deal with cords.

Looks like you are set for a week or two
But Pete, get yourself off the ground!
I've sent you a link to a great site on how to make a good stand for the size of wood you have.
Cheers!
PS now that you have that mill, you will NEVER look at a log or a tree in the same way again!! :D
Cheers!

My greedy brother wants the flatstock and he is the one with the planer. If I ever need stuff glued up, he's my guy.
