I am building a frameless cabinet to match the exesting cabinets in the room. I am using Blum 75T1550 107 degree hinges & 175L810 mounting plates. The door will be full overlay. What are the boring dimensions for the door. I have never used this type of hinge before & I can not make heads or tails out of Blum's boring tables.

i'm using hettich hinges and the place where i bought them said all the cup locations were the same regardless of mfg.i don't know if that is true, but i'm using a 1-3/8" forstner bit with the center of the hole 7/8" from the edge.seems to work out fine.try it on a scap piece of wood.

Chris, have you called Blum? I needed some specs faxed to me and they were VERY helpful.

With the hinge/mounting plate combo you have, the distance the edge of the cup hole needs to be bored from the edge of the door is dependent on how much you want the edge of the door to be from the inside face of the carcass side (door closed).

The relationship between the distance from inside face of carcass to edge of door (A), and the distance from edge of door to edge of cup hole (B) is:
A/B
14mm/3mm
15mm/4mm
16mm/5mm
17mm/6mm
Example: if you have a 16mm wide carcass and you want the door edge to be perfectly flush to the outside edge of the carcass, the edge of the cup must be inset 5mm from the edge of door. Also, 17mm is the max distance you can get from this hinge/mounting plate combo and 14 is the smallest. If you need smaller than 14mm, you need a different mounting plate. HTH.

Thank you for all of the help. I had the charts, but I was never good a cross word puzzles. Or in this case cross number puzzles.
James's post made the charts clear to me. The holes are drilled & the door has been fit & is ready for final sanding.
Thanks Again.
