Tool handles

Would it be safe to glue up some 1 inch ash with poly glue to turn some tool handles??

I don't see why not. Good old yellow glue would work for that matter.

Steve I did a couple with Gorilla glue. Worked great.

Yes it would work fine, but I'd likely use PVA. I really don't like using poly glues unless they really are needed, such as for a strong out-door joint. Too messy to work with. (Wear gloves...you do NOT want it to get on your fingers unless you enjoy having black digits until it wears off... ;) )
