Wixey on MiniMax J/P ?

Has anyone here mounted a Wixey DRO on a MM jointer/planer? I saw a picture on the Wixey site of one on an FS350, but I can't get a sense of what's involved from the picture.

Hi Dan,
Sorry I can't specifically help on the MM install but, my recomendation would be, just buy one and, once you have the unit in-hand, as well as the parts, you can get a much better "feel" for what you'll need to do. I had originally installed one on my DW735 before there were any pics available on the site. No probs. Then, after upgrading to the 15" Yorkie, I couldn't figure how it would work, because now, the table went up/down instead of the head. Finally just bought one and it didn't take too much head scratching to figure it out. (The Yorkcraft planer install on the site is mine, BTW.) Heck, if I can figure it out, I'm certain you can!!! :D :cool:

I didn't use the Wixey on my FS350, but did mount a Digiscale. You can see two threads on this at:

This should give you an idea about how I mounted things so you can envision how you might handle the W system.
