I've decided to not finish these next few projects until I have a chuck. I don't want to take the chance of messing them up. My first Turning Tool Handle of Live Oak.

Most chucks, unless fitted with pin jaws are going to allow you to finish this piece which, is very nice!

Go ahead and finish those between centers because if you didn't get a chuck with pin jaws it is not going to fit the chuck.

Good job on all of them Christopher. I like the oak NE best. It has some nice figure in it and you formed it just right. Is the first one a box on a pedestal?
