Wondering if any of you have had corrosion between the base adjusting screw and the housing. I am not sure if it is some sort of galvanic reaction or if I have a bad one. Mine has corroded so bad that the threads on the body are gone. Just a lot of cake like whitish yellow residue.

Corrosion or not, only one in all their production or not; I would contact them ASAP and have it replaced. Even out of warranty, it shouldn't happen.

This is the small trim router?

Some time ago, they had problems with their standard routers, [1- 1/2 hp, etc.] doing the same thing. Heard they replaced a lot of them under warranty.
