First Completed Project!

I finally completed something with Steve Ashes help. He glued up this wood and I got up the nerve to try a box. It is oak, cherry and ash. It is 3.25" by 3.25".

I'm trying my first box and having a heck of a time getting the lid to fit right:mad: . It started out about 6" tall and is now about 4":rolleyes: .

Actually the center is ash, then hickory and oak on the outside...I think I forgot to tell you, if that's the one I brought over last weekend or is a piece left over from the goblet?. At any rate that is very nice, and you've just made my wife want one just like it!

I mainly used this 1.5"bowl scraper. I don't know if it is the right way but I didn't get any catches.

Outstanding job Pete. I like the combo of wood. Those 1 1/2" hogs will take out the wood won't they? I got mine from PSI which was round nosed and I put a side scrape on it. Nice Job Pete.
