Ok guys, I am kind of a clean freak and I like to take care of tools and do some prevenative mainenance to keep things working in top shape. When I was done with using my chuck the other day for the first time, it was pretty much covered with fine dust. I blew the chuck out with the compressor. I expect that a chuck needs to be lubricated every once in awhile to prevent rust etc. What should a guy use to do so?
thanks all,
Corey

Hasn't been an issue yet, but the instructions that came with mine just say:
Brushing is all that is needed to clean your chuck. If the chuck becomes sticky, soak in mineral spirits with 10% oil added. Soak for 30 minutes and blow dry.
I assume the "10% oil added" is to replace the lubricant that gets washed out by the solvent.
