Pine Anyone or How Many Bowls?

Tree cutters came today and left me all the trunk.:eek: Just a little trunk...NOT! Beatles got to it and... well it died. What to do with all this wood? I'll show the logs later.

Pine, being VERY soft, has a tendancy to tear out. This being said, I have seen bowls made from it.

Have fun with that pine, Chris. Sure, you can turn it. I did (http://www.sawmillcreek.org/showthread.php?t=28116). Come to think of it; if you can mount it, you can turn it.

The stuff I did had been sawn about four years earlier and left to air dry under ideal conditions. Thusly, pitch was no trouble except on the bandsaw where it just gummed everything up, but good.
