I just got back from the bank and they tell me if I work real hard for the next 30 years - all this can be mine:

<IMG SRC="http://kodak.realtracs.com/MediaDisplay/hr616390-10.jpg" ALT="The Barbers House">

I was real taken by the fact that it had a four car garage on the house, then I looked to the left and saw this 30 x 40 shop:

<IMG SRC="http://kodak.realtracs.com/MediaDisplay/hr616390-7.jpg" ALT="The Barbers Shop">

Hidden in the back was this to rinse the sawdust off:

Anyone have any advise on how to move a shop full of tools and a 3 bedroom house full of furniture and belongings in the same day?

The family is so excited - can you say Saw Mill Creek BBQ?

Three acres full of room to pitch tents on, none of it flat. At the far reaches of a dead end road across the street from a lake - can't see a single home from anywhere in the yard. Comes with it's own supply of turning wood

Cheers,

Dan

Oh, my...he shoots....he SCORES! That's a great property, Dan. A great shop and it conveniently comes with a house for SWMBO! :D (Saw that one on another forum tonight on a similar post)

er I mean house - sorry what was I thinking :D

DAN That looks pretty much like the dream house of most of us. 4 car garage so I could park my 66 Mustang GT in with SWMBo's car
& a huge shop that can be split into wood working & car restoration shops - for when I'm ready to tackle the Mustang resto.

Lake across the street & built in turning wood - decisions decisions -fishing - turning? There doesn't happen to be a golf course nearby is there. Man then I'd never go to work if I were in your shoes!
Oh yeah that part attached to the 4 car garage looks OK too. ;)

Mega congrats & good luck with everything. :)

A 4 car garage, big shop, turning wood, pool, fishing--man, you have too much to do to waste time working. Seems like a formula for foreclosure. Congrats!! Looks like you have found Utopia!

Dan - That is a fantastice looking place. I know you, Joy and the kids will love it. I am not sure how you will handle all that shop space after what you had been used to.

Is the new place in Mt Olive ? If not where?

I will be looking forward to a visit - I need to see my adopted Granddaughter anyway :D.

Tweeeeeet! Sleath gloat!

Can I park my '71 Mustang Cobra Jet convertible next to it? :D

Dan - looks like a great property. You don't know how envious I am of a ground level shop with doors like that. Getting big machinery down a hatchway just ain't no fun. All that plus space for 3 cars and a boat or RV plus the lawn toys - you'll be in heaven!

Hey Rob,

I sure wish I still had my 1969 Z/28 with the original 302 in it that I sold 18 months ago. Now I would finaly have the space to work on it.

Oh well - that will have to wait until the kids are gone

This is a little OT, but this Mustang is one my Dad bought new. We still have the window sticker for it. What makes it really special is that it still has the high school parking lot stickers on it from when I (and my younger brother) drove it to high school.

Both my brother and I have agreed - would he let his son drive something like that car to school now?

No-o-o-o-o-o way!

I bought it from my Dad a few years ago. My wife and I went to the same high school and used to go on dates which were a joyride with an ice cream cone. I think she's still around only because of the car :)

Besides - you got the diesel mower thang with the house - what're you honkin' about!!??

This house is about 20 miles east of the present one. In Lebanon, TN - still an easy drive from your place. I'm sure Joy and Carly would love to see you. Perhaps you should plan on staying here during the show in October in Smyrna - only about a 30 minute drive from there to here.

This place has a full apartment on the lower wing. Might even find some cold BudLight in the frig for ya ;)

This mower was included in the deal, can't wait to try it out!

Look forward to your visit.

Dan,
How come it is Summer at the house and Winter at the shop?

Great set up. Just move the tools and let SWMBO worry about the furniture. She'll be so mad by then she will be able to lift the couch by herself!

Dan,

That looks very nice. Lots of room for the family and all of the toys that us adults need. I have an acre of ground but I don't have the hardwood trees like what you have. Jealous in that.

I suppose you are using "moving" as a reason not to attend Sophie's BBQ this weekend.

Say hi to Joy for us.

Dan,

That's a real beauty! Wishing you and your family great enjoyment.

Never did get to posting the one I bought back in May, so a picture's attached. Needs work, but has awesome bones and that big walk-in shop down below.

Dan,

Man thats a nice gloat!! :D A house, shop, land, and a wonderful family to use it, what more can a man ask for. Deb and I are looking for something like that if I can transfer to TDOT. Congrats with the find! :)
