Turned vessel ...

Here are a couple I turned today ... a walnut vessel (3 1/2" x 6") with a couple coats of Crystal Coat on it and then buffed. I was going to do a lid, but SWMBO says she likes it without. I soaked it in LDD two days, air dried for two, then turned today. The second is a small lidded box (without the lid turned yet) that is 4" x 3". It is a piece of cherry. I was thinking of doing the lid out of walnut or a contrasting wood. Thanks for looking, have fun, and be safe.

Nice turnings Ron! The Walnut Vessel is very sharp. It looks great just as it is. The Cherry Box is really cool too. The coloration is nice, and the knots make it very interesting. I hope to be doing work like that someday. Thanks for sharing the photo's of your fine work! :)
