Well, it's not completely a NE since part of the edge was sawed before turning, but I don't know what else to call it. It's 5.5" diameter x 5" high. Finished with 3 coats of Formby high gloss Tung Oil and then Beall Buffed.
Thanks for looking.

Beautiful NE Ed. I just finished a bowl tonight and tried the Formby Tung Oil high gloss on mahogany. I hope it turns out as well as yours did. Great work Ed.

Thank you everyone for your feedback! Bernie, one thing I don't like about the Formby's high gloss is that you really have to go back and smooth out the finish with steel wool, and that takes away some of the gloss. This may be true for any high gloss finish. I need to find some of that synthetic steel wool that Glenn uses, as the steel particles can get caught in tiny cracks and give the finish a muddy look.

I really, really like that finish. I was going to comment on how much I like that finish. Not too glossy. Just my opinion but I think too glossy makes a piece look more like plastic than wood and I am like the wood look. Really nice looking NE.
