Right now I'm stoking myself with coffee to prepare for 1 more day of turning fun with a wonderful bunch of guys. Since Friday afternoon, we've been in the shop until well into the night. I'm having a blast with these guys :D ..........
Keith Burns, Jim Ketron, Mark Cothren, Dick Parr, Dennis Peacock, Rob Bourgeois and Bob Dunn. Tons of pictures and a full report to follow (none now, my camera is still in the shop ;) ). We've even got Keith turning his 1st green bowl, a sweet natural edge Cherry at that! :D

How did you get such group of turners together all at the same time and in the same place?? Offer free white or mustard lathes to the first to show up?

Chris Barton

Considering the list of names I thought they might be at some "work-release center" that just happens to have a lathe...:D

What a weekend doe's not begin to describe it:) :) :) :) . I can't remember the last time I had so much fun. Thank you Travis for opening your shop and thank you Susan for opening your home. Your hospitaliy and generosity was beyound belief.

I used to think I could turn a little but after spending spending time with these "professionals" you soon realize how much you don't know. Thank you all for your instructions and sharing your knowledge. It is invalueable.

Travis, same time next year??:D

Joe, "It's all your fault"

Thanks to all !! It couldn't have been any better:)

Great stuff guys. I would have thought I would have seen MORE face Shield use, especially with the bigger chunks of wood spinnin'.

Not trying to be picky, as most of the names there have a heck of a lot MORE experience than me. Just interested in your safety.
