Here is a ""Semi" NE Walnut bowl that is also Spalted. First time I got any Walnut like this.

As I mentioned before, I have trouble sometimes keeping the bark on the edge. It stayed there right up to the end, then Flew off!

Oh Well.

Bruce looks like a mighty fine job to me. Nice looking piece of work. I love working with walnut. Great job.

It's still a nice looking bowl Bruce. I'm betting that if the wood has been dead long enough to spalt it was probably starting to shed the bark too. I've never been able to keep the bark on if the wood wasn't fairly green to start with.

Hey, Bruce, you are way ahead of me. I have never been able to successfully turn a NE. I always manage to crash them.... Nice job!:D

Wow, I love natural edge stuff. That's really nice, I love the shape.
When I can procure another log, I'm going to attempt one.

Real nice bowl Bruce. Gonna have to try that natural edge stuff one of these days.

Thanks for reminding me... I have a NE going and just ran out and put some CA glue around the bark line.:)
