Well as you all know I've been spending a crazy amount of time in the spinny section here. But today I had to do some flat work. My nephew needed help on his confirmation project, he wanted to do a table. So I looked around and found a nice table for him. he played xbox with my son while I dimensioned the stock, then helped put it together. He will be completely incharge of the sanding and finishing. But here are the pictures. The rails for the bottom shelf are still drying but wanted to post some pictures.

Yep sure is. Not quite sure what's gonna happen to it afterwards so I figured better than burning up some cherry. :rolleyes:



Looks like a fine "first project" for the budding woodworker!

I agree, it was hard to "scale back" because I wanted to, put a nice burl veneer on it and some wicked awesome joinery and..... you egt the idea. So I pick a nice simple project that a early teen could do.
