Hi:

Has anyone got the new PSI catalog? They have in there a wood fishing lure kit that can be made on a lathe. Would this type of item sell well?

Two things that I enjoy most in life are turning and fishing. Sometimes I go fishing if I get tired of turning, and vice versa. But if I had to go fishing to try out my new turning or do some turning before I could go fishing, well I think my wife would divorce me for sure.

I'm gonna miss her!

I haven't looked that closely at my PSI catalog to see those kits yet. Sounds like a neat idea and potential gifts for my fishing family members this year. I think they would definitely have potential for sales.

Well you can be sure of this---the big Crappie are up and biting---white bass are moving for their spawn---we are going fishing for the next two weeks.
I will have to look at these kits I have the newest catalog from PSI.

Where I grew up we called them sac au lait, and they are the best eating fish on earth...

Hi,

I have been making my own plugs since the late 50's.

You don't need a kit to make those plugs and lures. A small piece of wood, a little wire and some paint will get it done. Here is a link to a site with a ton of info.
