I'm putting together my new Rockler Jig-it rail set-up. I got the whole Jig-It set-up kit, Rail and all. Including an extra four foot rail for longer doors. Two questions come up right away:
1)Does the round drill bit guide require the little feet that come in the package? There are four little rubber feet that come in the packaging and they are still on the little rubber tree they were molded on. Are these necessary?
2) While assembling the Jig-it templates I measured the reveal, the distance from the wooden block to the edge of the metal guide, and it was different between the two. There is a difference of approximately 1/32". In other words, one template has a reveal, or setback, that is 1/32" longer than the other. How critical is the set back distance for the 35 mm holes? Is this 1/32" difference going to be okay or do I need to make them equal?
Oh wait...a third bonus question, if I may....
3) Can anyone tell me the depth that I need to set the drill bit at? Do I just measure the cup and drill that or is there a particular measurement?
Thanks you all very much for any help and/or advice you can give.
