Not sure if this is the correct forum for this post, but I will count on all of you straightening me out. I am looking for a detailed plan of a Shaker Tall Clock, preferably the Watervliet type. Any recommendations on where to look would be appreciate.

Mike, try looking in Fine Woodworking issue number 122. I think you can go to their website and download plans like that for a membership fee. Good luck.

Yep Fine Woodworking has it online. http://www.taunton.com/FWN/ProjectsAndDesign/ProjectsAndDesignPDF.aspx?id=2454

The membership was a good deal IMHO.

John Kassay's book, The Book of Shaker Furniture, has a drawing and picture of the original Watervliet clock on pages 127, 128, and 129.

Or you could talk to JJ, who recently posted pics of one on this website. Do a search on Shaker Clock, and it will surely come up, then you can ask him which plans he used. His, BTW, is OUTSTANDING!
