I collected these stumps a few weeks ago at my parents place. I'm not up to bark inclusions and the like yet, but I'll get there. Any suggestions on how I should divide this into blanks would be appreciated.

That's some great looking wood! Is it cherry? Hard to tell from the picture but the logs in the background look like cherry. Anyway, I would cut the blanks into sizes about 4" larger than the swing of my lathe. Be careful about the debis that can be in stump wood. Rocks and dirt can be really hard on steel blades. I'd split them at those fissures and take it from there.
