Two Bowls

Here's a couple I turned recently...Catalpa and Cedar. Both are roughly 9 1/4" x 3 1/2". The Catalpa was soaked in DNA, dried for 2 weeks and finished with Deft satin lacquer. The Cedar went from blank to finished bowl in one turning.

Some really nice work. Like JH said, I like the cedar really well also. It is fast becoming one of my favorite woods, both flat and round to work with.

Beautiful bowls. I don't know for sure what catalpa is but it looks like some great wood. The cedar is pretty too.
