Powermatic 2000 at Houston WW Show

Saw(no pun) the new Powermatic 2000 TS at the show today. All I can say is wow. Thte saw has a special dust chutes underneath to direct dust directly to your hose in the rear, it has a quick change blade feature, riving knives that stay in pplace when the blade protector is removed(quick change), has a large off button for knee kicks, oh and a built in caster system. It was $2000 plus tax and that included liftgate service. The new price is supposed to be approx $2500 plus tax and shipping/delivery on top of that.

Was very impressed, just tneed to decide whether to spend the bucks.

BTW it is 3 hp single phase.

I was able to get out of there for considerably less money, thanks to the gods for that. I have'nt gone to a show in around three years or more, and this one seemed a little smaller or less demos going on or something than I remember shows in the past. I wasn't exactly disapointed, but could have spent more time there if there was more to see. It was good to go though.
