This natural edge cherry is finished in lacquer. I am posting it because of the hole, and because it came from the same log as the others. One of the pictures is posted in order to try and show the flame figure in the bottom of it. I made the pofile different than the others, hope you like it, comments welcomed.

Glenn, that is maybe one of the prettiest pieces of Cherry I think I've seen... awesome!

The form is unique to me, but I like it. You have another excellent bowl here!

Thanks for the pictures!

That is awesome! I love the form, the color and that finish is exquisite. What kind of lacquer did you use and how did you apply it? I can never get mine to shine like that.

Glenn..........the only word I can think of that hasn't been used to describe that is STUNNING. Knockout-Knockdown STUNNING. Everything about it ....form, wood, finish....STUNNING!

You people are to kind, but I love it, thanks for the favorable remarks. I use Deft spray lacquer right out of the can. I rub rough spots between layers with 4 ought steel wool. I have not mastered a way to take the picture with out the glare, but what the heck.
