Plate aluminum for router table...

I have a piece of plate aluminum, 1/4" thick and about 2' square. Can this be cut with a table saw? What type of blade? How about trimming with a router and flush trim bit? Thinking about a new router table and I believe this would make a few nice inserts. Thanks for the info.

randy, i cut aluminum all the time on a table or miter saw, use a good non-ferrous metal blade, go slow and know that it`ll get hot...02 tod
