Up on deck: Torch Lamps

My brothers and I are starting a new project to build three bedroom lamps to replace some bean-jar style lamps. The torch lamps have sort of the same idea as the End Table Project I posted the other day. In this case, the lamps will be made from poplar and finished with a silver hammered finish. The shade will be made from opague plexiglass, but I'm not sure if or how this will work out.
