Not exactly Richard Raffan yet, but I thought this one turned out OK. Pattern is from his Projects book. Wood is lyptus from a scrap pile at a lumber yard near my dad's house in NC, finish is BLO and Ren-wax.
I am getting more comfortable with the bowl gouges and the scrapers now, not so formidable as they were a couple of weeks ago. My thanks to all here who have been helpful and influenced me, whether you knew it or not......
I thought the name of the wine to be quite appropos.......... :)
