Tried tagging this on another post, but it got lost.
I've got a 16" wood/metal with the four step pulley and the two speed gearbox. This is the motor pulley.

The motor is a 3ph, 1/2HP, 702rpm back geared. 1/2" shaft. Should I stick with a 1/2HP 1/2" shaft, 1,750 rpm 48 frame, or should I decide on a single speed and go with a bigger 56 frame motor? There aren't any four step pulleys with bigger bores and the same diameters. I've only found 1/2" bore.
I'm not going to use it for metal, and will still have the gearbox for two speeds.
Thanks,
Rich
