View Full Version : Garden Shed Design

I am planning to build a shed to be used for storing garden tools (mower tiller hand tools etc.) and the like to replace the crappy metal one that's blowing apart. (We've had an especially windy year here on the front range in Colorado). It will live in the garden, and I'd like something that looks like it belongs in a garden. I guess something that would look inviting, complexity is not an issue. Even though it will be a tool shed, I imagine windows on it and so on. If anyone has any design resources that I could look at I would appreciate it. I'm really just trolling for ideas at this point.

Doug, whatever design you use, I would suggest that you make it with Cedar, and it will Look like it belongs.

Cedar is nice but here's an alternative... http://www.jameshardie.com/homeowner/prodhome/default.php

Very low maintenance.
