Don,

You can also try your local plastic supply house (if there are any "nearby" in OK:D ) for some good double sided tape. I have a friend who is the Tape Specialist at a local plastic supply company and he was able to get me a sample roll of some stuff from 3M that was only about .002" thick and super sticky!

Like with most plastic material there is a plethora of varieties available to suit most woodworking applications from permanent bond to repositionable styles.

Good luck!!

Try the craft stores for cork. I bought my double stick tape from Rockler (I think), been a while since I bought it. Rockler might even have the cork too.

I buy self-adhesive cork at Home Depot: it's over in the cabinet department, sold as shelf liner, made by the "Contact" people. About $8 for a 12"x48" roll, also available without the adhesive. I've also seen it at Ace Hardware.

Double-stick tape I usually get at Staples, either the thin stuff ("carpet tape") or the thicker foam stuff, both by 3M.

I know that the local Home Depot flyer even had the cork shelf liner listed on sale this week. Thought - hmmm gotta remember to buy some when I go there - but I haven't been there this week, and don't remember the price it was listed at.
