I tried the Bessey clamps. Afterall, King Norman of the Normites swears by them. I was very unhappy with them in general and sold mine off at significant loss. I have found the Jorgenssen I-Beams to be excellent. But my favorate clamp company is Wetzler. They are on the internet and have made clamps for many many years. Their quick action deep throat clamps are legend and the bar clamps are simply awsome. And the cross clamps used in conjuction with the quick action clamps solve some vexing problems. You may wish to check these old timers out before buying the other red plastic wonders. Good Luck.

I've found that they do what I need and have had no problems with them. I think both these and the Jorgensen cab clamps are both good clamps.

Btw IMHO this is not a decent deal. Look for my post on the 27th about the deal then I listed the prices that Amazon was charging for the same clamps about a month or two ago. Its amazing how much they have jacked the prices up. I just thought it would be useful for price comparaison.
