After blowing up that wonderful piece of Spalted Walnut, I had to climb back aboard the Lathe. This was that effort. It is Ash with a little natural edge. 3-3/4" in diameter and 3" tall. The shape was to be a little like a large two handed coffee mug or Four scoop Ice cream bowl.

As always, comments welcomed. This is going to replace the blow-up at the silent auction for the blind this week.

Thanks for lookin'.

Bruce;)

Nice job Bruce. Always nice to recover with something that good. Like the fit and finish Bruce.

Nice one Bruce. Given that Ernie has identified it as a two handed malt/ice cream holder, I think that it's only fitting that the flavor of record is Chocolate Malted Rashpberry

Thanks folks. Kieth, I hadn't thought of that. What's more important, though, is that it does well and raises some money at the silent auction for the Blind People's Center.

Bruce,
I REALLY enjoy your work! Nice job. :) However, I feel very badly about losing Andy as your, "In Memory Of" post implies. We can only pray that we lost only the "less than human" sides of his many faces. :) He MUST have two or three GOOD sides to compensate for what we have been subjected to thus far.

C'mon Andy! :) EVERYONE is supposed to have ONE good side - or TWO or THREE! :o Give us a peek! ;) We are all hoping for the best! ;) Please don't let us down!! :)

Dale - Sorry. Gonna have to pass on your request.

Showing my "good" side violates just about every one of the TOS things. And it's just too plain scary to boot.

Nice work, Bruce. All you guys who are advertising these bowls as ice cream utensils need to show us one in action some day...:D

Nice bowl and thanks for the pictures!

Got the results back from the Paoriarea Blind Peoples Center Silent Auction.

Guess this is a bit of a gloat, but I am SHOCKED that a 3-3/4" X3" bowl would raise $201.00 in a silent auction!

I MAY have to raise my prices!:D

Seriously, though, I am VERRRRRRRRRRRRY happy it went for that much. The center has been having some theft lately and they need the help.
