Jim,

Nice bowls!
Ash??!!! Boy, the Ash I've gotten has been very plain - your Ash looks like another kind of wood! Very nice wood.

Are these the 1/10 scale prototypes for the horsie feed bowls?

It'll be less hard on John's back lifting those "mini's" to shoe them!:D

John, yeah it was obviously my problem, but thanks for your help.

Ken their both 3 1/2' X 5" tall.

The ash, and I not sure that's what it is as I've never turned it before, was bathed in DNA. The buckeye was soaked in DNA then used the epoxy martini on it. They both are hard as heck now.

What Stu said - REALLY nice job on both. Gonna have to save my pennies so I can get me some of that wood shipped up here.....

Haven't you guys heard, with his bad back, John's going to be a free range chicken rancher.

Thanks all. It has been fun learning how to use the bowl gouge. I used it exclusively on the ash bowl. Only tool I used, honest engine.
