I am hosting a Iowa Woodworking gathering April 22 to be held in Iowa Falls. It is only called the Iowa gathering because that is the gathering place. If you are reading this you are invited! This is a “quick sketch” of the early planning of the day. We will start about 10:00am and I will provide lunch. If we are still together at supper time we have a nice restaurant on the river that might be fun. We can tour the local High School and Middle School Industrial Technology facilities, you can test drive or see a demo of any of my equipment that might interest you, I could demo a turned birdhouse ornament, or a pen demo either manual or CNC turned if we have time. Unfortunately we do not have a sawmill close that I am aware of but any suggestions or ideas you might have are welcome. Regardless of what we do it should be a fun day. I wanted to get this out now so hopefully those that want to attend will have time to plan for it. Hope to see a lot of you there. Dave
