I'm trying to replace this tablesaw/jointer. The table for the saw, on this side, is about 8". The jointer, far side, is about 4". Both are live together. Check out the blade guard in the top of the pic. It's suspended from the ceiling, but is not used.

I can't afford a typical big European saw. I need a Unisaw type. The best I can come up with is the Dewalt 746. It is priced at $2500 for the basic model without the sliding table, etc. Yikes!!! I don't think so.

I can't get a response to email from Delta or Jet/Powermatic about availability over there.

Does anyone have any info that may help me? I will be in Russia for a couple of weeks in September. I hope to re-outfit an old workshop in an orphanage.

You may want to talk to dealers/vendors in the UK/EU about this. You are more likely to get a response and interest in your needs.

You didn't say where in Russia. A google search for woodworking tools in Moscow revealled the following link. Moscow Yellow Pages (http://www.infoservices.com/moscow/451.htm)

Don't know if this helps or not. Sandvik is a pretty well known company. I have no idea what a TS would cost from them!

Thanks, Lee. Yes, Moscow would be convenient. The shop is about 90 miles east in Vladimir. I'll check it out.
