Picture police satisfaction

I haven't had a chance to take any pictures of my shop yet, but i do have a few of a box that i made. I am medieval recreationist (SCA) and i made this box for all my plates and utensils eating equipment. I made the lining removable in case it gets dirty and need to wash it. This was my first attempt with a new dovetailing jig that my neighbor gave me.

Cool idea, Jacob. What kind of wood did you use?

LOML's brother is into the same type of recreation stuff, although lately he's on more of a viking kick. Last weekend I saw a couple "viking boxes" he and his buddies had bought for about $60 each. These boxes were made of 1x8 pine, and they looked like they'd been built by a one-handed blind third-grader with a drinking problem. I easily could knock out something better in about 15 minutes. I told them next time they need a rustic box to come talk to me.

I agree with John..."Recreationist" sounds so much better than "Ren Faire Freak". :p

Not only does it sound better, it has a different meaning. Ren-faires are for profit, recreationist are to spend money.
