Well I haven't had much time lately to post or do any woodworking or turning. I have been busy working on a friends basement every evening and Saturday. I am finishing out about 800 sf for him in his basement and also strengthing up the floor above it. (which was done to code but was very bouncy. 1 1/2"x9" spanning 14'8") I added a yellow pine 2x6 to both sides of each joist and then ran the beams you see in the pictures to stiffen the floor. Framing and plumbing is all done, now on to electrical.
