Here's some before & after pics of the kitchen I installed last weekend. The backsplash & base wasn't on yet. I love my new job.

Mark, great work on the cabinets! I really like the way you work the grain into the design of the doors and drawers. The grain on the wood you used adds a ton of interest to the whole kitchen. Nice job!

Let me guess - the "before" cabinets are circa 1968, and the "wood-look" postformed counter is probably an 80s upgrade.

I'm going to go with earlier '60s since my 1960 house has the exact same ones. Great upgrade Mark.

I was thinking the exact same thing. Mine were also identical to those... Before I tore them out. .

Either every cabinet guy in America in the 50s and 60s got their plywood, fir, finishing supplies, and cabinet building lessons at the same place or there was one hellaciously busy cabinet builder back then.
