Last night my son figured out that some of the pieces to his African Wildlife picture puzzle were warped. I'm not sure what caused the warping but am hoping to flatten them. I am planning on clamping the pieces between two pieces of MDF. Do you think it would help the process along if I were to dampen the outside ply before I clamped? The plywood is probably about 1/8" and has 4 or 5 plies to it, as far as I can tell. If you've had success in flattening thin plywood, I'd appreciate any strategies or advice.
