View Full Version : Looking at a Used MiniMAx FS35

I came across a used mustard yellow MiniMax FS350 for $2,800. Is this a fair price? The dealer said the base is slightly sratched up from use but the tables were fine and it comes with a mobile base. He said mechanically it is in great condition so I'm going to go and take a look at it on friday.

So before I take the plunge what problems should I be looking for in a used machine like this? Also do you think there will be parts available for a machine this old?

Thanks

Corey

Corey,

Call Mini-Max and ask them if parts are available. TOLL FREE 866-975 - 9663. They will also tell you what to look for on the machine. They are great people.

a 14" jointer/planer from MiniMax for just under $3-Grand?
Hmmm.
New they are about $5-Grand aren't they.

Hey I have an idea.
Tell me the seller's phone number so I can go snap it out from underneath you - sight unseen.

If:
1.) it's in good shape and the shipping won't kill you,
&-&-&
2.) you want a combo.
Then buy it.
