I posted earlier this week about this chest. Its meant to hold hanging folders, for a weaver/friend that likes to keep printed patterns with their samples.

I'd cut the wood to the inside measurements, and so this planned legal-size
is now a letter-sized chest:D Every decorative element in this chest is a recovery attempt from a mistake - except the inlay inside the lid (I meant to do that).

It turned out better than I'd thought it would, but less than beautiful pieces I'd seen posted here.

Joe.............first off......It looks great! I like the overall design, the inlay...the finish!

2ndly ..........I suspect we all do a certain amount of recovery work on projects! You are not alone or doing something new!:o
