View Full Version : Cherry Salad Bowl

This is what I made out of that big piece of cherry I had on my new DVR when I posted the pic awhile back. Unfortunately I caught too much of the gouge tip near the top and the bowl blew up into three pieces.:o Took me 15 minutes to find the third piece! The tenon was ok, so I glued the bowl together and refinished it. You can see my glue joints if you look not too hard but it'll hold water (salad dressing).:) It's 14" diam. by 4" deep. Finished with 2 coats of walnut oil.
