Cherry Box

Well here is a cherry box I turned today. Didn't turn out to bad. Right now it just has a coat of BLO on it. When that dries I will put a couple of coats of lacquer on it. Tried to get a little fancy with the skew. Don't know if I like it or not. Also turned a walnut bowl today but it is drying right now. will get some pictures posted tomorrow night. I am putting Behlens Salad Bowl finish on it. We are going to use 3 of these bowls to see how it holds up. Any helpful comments would be appreciated.

Thanks for the kind comments. I really like this box turning. Now it is getting to the fun part experimenting with different styles. I have Raffan's video on box turning and going to get Chris Stott's video on box turning.
