I am looking for a source for 5" hose for my DC. Is it possible to find a price that does not require a second or third mortgage on my house. Any help will be appreciated. keith

Good hose generally costs a few dollars, unfortunately. Oneida, Air Handling Systems, Lee Valley and a bunch of other places all carry it.

Keith, I did a quick look at the two companies I have used, Wynn Environmental, and Air Handling Systems. They both priced 5" flex hose at $10, and change, per FOOT. Better skip lunch a few days, and belly up to the order desk.:)

Grizzly H1054, $25.95 / 10 ft.

I've used the cheap black stuff from Grizzly (not the one Kent mentioned). Although it's fairly smooth on the inside, it is not very flexible. It's OK for machines that don't require a very flexible duct, but if you move your machines around a little bit, I don't recommend it.
